The song above is called Do What You Do by one of my favorite bands, Cute Is What We Aim For. In my point of view, this song is empowering. Not just the lyrics, the energy of the song is magnetic. It makes you want to listen to the song over and over again. It starts off with the lead singer, Shaant, singing slowly. It then morphs into a voice tone that is more alternative rock style. 

The lyrics itself are inspiring. "No one is telling me the speed I should be traveling so watch me take the lead." I think these lyrics signify to basically "Do What You Do." The song itself is appropriately titled. Do what you do, go your own way and just live. Also, I think the pre-chorus is about having gut feelings to take chances. "I could do anything, be anything, see anything." "Have you ever been fake, for the sake of saving face?" These lyrics serve a great significance of life. It represents the people who don't act like themselves (fake) just to avoid confrontation. It's about living life as you choose, "it doesn't matter what they say." This song is empowering, inspirational and has an important life lesson built right into it.
